Full Custom Backpacks

I build two types of custom packs. First, is a fully designed one-off custom pack as described below. Second, is an actual reproduction of an old pack. More information on reproducing an old design please go here.

After you order a pack I'll contact you for your waist belt size and any customization. You can choose from all features: waist belt, harness size, bivy pad, alloy stays, crampon and ice tool attachment, webbing color and size, fitting issues, etc. all final design decisions will be mine.

How to order:

1. place the item you want in the cart
2. schedule phone, zoom or in person design meeting (optional on non custom gear like duffels,classic packs ect.)
3. pay the design/consult fee
4. watch the snow fall
5. open email that your order is up and visit/call/zoom to finalize pack/bike bags/etc.
6. pay final invoice
7. wait 4-6 weeks to get your gear!

The current base price will be kept up on the website, but the $100 doesn't lock in the final price. It may change between when you get on the list and I get to it. I have no idea what Tariffs will do to material costs.

A typical Custom packs range from $500-$1900, or more. 

All sizing is custom fit. back panel options include, different thicknesses of high density closed cell foam and 7000 series alloy or Titanium frames or nothing depending on the end use of the pack.

we can build packs focused on  backpacking, general mountaineering/ expeditions, ice climbing, alpine climbing or whatever you think you need. your choice of features for carrying tools, compression straps, haul loops, leather patches, bladder pockets, lid pockets, roll top, fixed or adjustable lids, front zipper access, and colors.
