If you had visited my shop you might have noticed the prototype of this bag I built well over a year ago, but until today was just another project on my todo list. It was first inspired by a request from mike kaz, a long time friend and employee at the mountaineer in Keene Valley , NY, home of Adirondack High Peaks.
I had downloaded this flag of New England in early 2020, wanting to incorporate into my bags now that i was back in Vermont after being in new zealand and the rocky mountains for 13,14 years. Inspiration struck when I saw the decal on rons bikes new aluminith model, made here in Vermont.
So here it is, built in 5 oz Dyneema with the back panel built in Ultra 800. #8 ykk water resistant zipper, multiple positions to fit around the stuff already on your bars with the 6” or 9” voile straps( depends what's in stock). Lower bungee cord to wrap around the head tube or, cables, just to keep in place on a vt class 4 road. Weighs 4 oz, or something. Volume big enough for lunch and the bog roll. Kinda expensive because of the printed Dyneema, yes, the flag is Dyneema too. The stars are sewn on. I am pre selling the first production run for May delivery, possibly sooner.
